Northvolt is a European supplier of high-quality battery cells and systems, made in an environmentally sustainable way. The company was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest recycling capabilities.
In the plant located in Gdańsk we produce energy storage systems and battery modules that replace internal combustion engines in industrial machines. Currently Northvolt Poland is increasing its manufacturing capabilities by building a highly-automated, state-of-the-art production plant.
Currently we are looking for Communications Associate to join our growing team in Gdańsk. Key responsibilities of the candidate will be internal communications and translations.
- Shaping internal communications through information sharing and improving communications channels
- Organizing and leading internal events
- Managing and maintaining intranet pages
- Being a key link between the central Northvolt internal communication function and Northvolt Poland and becoming a member of the extended communications team
- Partnering with colleagues to build knowledge, ensure alignment across team and company-wide initiatives and leverage the company's full resources
- Supporting various departments in the company with their internal messaging
- Translating company’s documentation
- Checking translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions
- Proofreading translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
- Very good command of Polish and English in writing and speaking - at least C1
- Proven experience in internal communications
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to simplify complex messages and create engaging content
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Good attention to detail
- Highly organised and result-driven
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
- Can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
