This role is about ensuring that the environments are available so that our users, developers and testers can enjoy a trouble free environments to produce the needed business value.

To succeed in this role you must have a high analytical mindset, be self driven, able to cope with high number of parallel tasks, show a "can do" attitude with a will to continuously improve.

Help bring environments management activities toward a goal of 100% automation

• Research and recommend innovative approaches for system administration tasks
• Make independent decisions and solve complex incidents in a timely manner
• Optimize the execution plans by reducing the number on manual steps
• Maintain the automation scripts and creation of new ones
• Help troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack
• Suggest improvements to services

• Solid experience with application server and service bus administration such as Oracle Service Bus.
• Solid experience in integration components (e.g. Kafka, MQ, others)
• Solid experience in API integration with ie. JSON or equivalent
• Experience in Windows and Unix administration
• Experience in high availability / multi node setup, performance tuning, provisioning and security (certificate management)
• Expertise in scripting and automation using a variety of tools (shell, bash, python, maven)
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Basic Java Development

• Experience with application virtualization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ...)
• Experience deploying Java applications
• Application development or engineering experience
• Good understanding of network and server virtualization
