Underwriter
Miejsce pracy: Gdańsk | Numer ref.: UND/080/ADO

Requirements:

  • University degree within mathematics, statistics or similar
  • Good knowledge of economic relations/interdependencies
  • Past experience from insurance industry and insurance pricing is an advantage
  • Mathematical/Statistical education/competence
  • Programming skills
  • Insurance portfolio analyses
  • Insurance pricing (GLM pricing)
  • Excellent understanding of risk selection and insurance pricing
  • Advanced skills within the Office package mainly Excel
  • Result oriented
  • Business understanding
  • Proactive
  • Communication

Duties:

  • Insurance pricing analyzes
  • Pricing calculations for new business
  • Profitability calculations on renewed insurances or group of insurances
  • Quarterly reporting of product profitability
  • Implementing price changes in our insurance system
  • Making product changes in our insurance system together with IT
  • Product owner data warehouse, being the link between the organization and our developers
